PHILADELPHIA, PA - La Salle University lacrosse freshman Jillian Davis (Folsom, PA/Ridley) was named as the Atlantic 10's Co-Rookie of the Week for the week of March 19, 2007.
Davis earned the honor after netting four goals in La Salle's 14-13 victory over Quinnipiac on March 14th. She finished the game with a team high five points, after adding an assist on fellow freshman Stefany McKee's goal. Davis attempted eight shots in the contest and controlled teh draw three times.
Davis is the second Explorer freshman to earn this honor this season, as McKee was tabbed with the honor in the first week of voting.
