PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Men's soccer team are poised to take on Villanova tomorrow to finish off the first half of their 2007 Spring competition. Right now their games have gone down the middle, winning and losing one game and tying a third.
The Explorers opened with a 3-0 victory over Soccer Seven rival Saint Joseph's. Kyle Quigley played 60 out of 80 minutes in goal for the SJU win, with Taylor Young finishing off the final 20. The goals were provided by juniors Dan Heavey, Brian Barry, and Kevin Lydic. Quigley was also in goal for the 0-0 tie with Army, and shared equal net time with Young in the 2-0 loss to Sacred Heart later that day.
