PHILADELPHIA, PA - Freshman lacrosse player Jillian Davis scored five goals - including the tying and winning scores - to help La Salle come back from a 5-2 first half Lehigh lead last Friday.
Davis scored at several key moments throughout the game, tying the score at 1-1 in the opening minutes, then again three minutes into the second half when her goal evened the score at 9-9. She netted the winning goal at 20:26 to put La Salle ahead 11-10, and also pushed the lead and finished off Explorer scoring with her fifth and the team's 13th goal with ten minutes remaining.
Davis ended the game leading the Explorers in goals (5), points (tied with Stefany McKee with 5), shots (9, all on goal), and ground balls (4).
