College Park, MD - Members of the La Salle University Track and Field teams traveled to the Maryland Invitational hosted by the University of Maryland on Saturday afternoon.

Carolyn Lipovsky (Edison, NJ/Bishop Ahr) won the 1500m with a time of 4.40.43.

Also finishing with strong events were Adriana Boyle (Havertown, PA/Haverford) who finished seventh in the 800m at 2.18.05  and less than a half second ahead of teammate Jennifer Surabian (Saugus, MA/Bishop Fenwick).

Orestes Medina (Palisades Park, NJ/Palisades Park) launched a jump of 6.66m to finish third in the long jump.

Ryan Moseley (Nassau, Bahamas/Queens College High) also took third in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.79.

Brian Winn (Manahawkin, NJ/Southern Regional) threw the javelin 56.69m to finish third in his event as well.
