PHILADELPHIA, PA - La Salle lacrosse freshman standout Jillian Davis (Folsom, PA/Ridley) was selected as the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for her accomplishments last week in the Explorers' lone game against Villanova.  This marks the third straight week Davis has received this honor.

Davis posted a game-high four goals in La Salle's 10-9 overtime loss to Villanova on Sunday, April 1st.  This marks the fourth time this season that Davis has scored at least four goals in a game.  She currently ranks seventh in the Atlantic 10 in goals per game with 2.75.

Davis and the entire Explorer team will be back in action at McCarthy Stadium on Thursday, April 5th when they host St. Bonaventure in the Atlantic 10 season-opener starting at 3:00 p.m.
