PHILADELPHIA, PA - The La Salle University Track & Field team finished another impressive week for the school, with Joe Dare and Rachel Papin both being awarded male and female Performer of the Week by the Atlantic 10.
Dare competed in the 10K for the first time this season, and finished second at the Penn Relays with a time of 29:25.84. That time earned him provisional qualification for the NCAA Championships. It was also the second fastest time in the 10K in La Salle history.
Papin shattered the school record in the 5K at the Penn Relays. She finished fourth in a field of 29 runners with a time of 16:19.29 and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships as well. This is her second performer of the week honors this season.
