PHILADELPHIA, PA - La Salle's Mary Pat Conville recently earned A-10 honors when she was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie softball team this season.
Conville led the Explorers with a .300 batting average, as well as tying for first in runs with 21. She also had a .408 on base percentage and led the team with 33 hits this year. She had a .910 fielding percentage, and managed 47 putouts from third base.
In the week spanning the Marist, George Washington and Maryland - Eastern Shore games, Conville earned four runs and five RBIs off seven hits. Her seventh inning homerun against Saint Louis was the only run scored in the game and earned La Salle the last minute conference win.
Conville comes from local Archbishop Wood where she was a two sport letter winner and captain (softball and soccer). She made all-conference three years in a row and earned Catholic league MVP her senior year. Conville is currently majoring in secondary education at La Salle.
