Philadelphia, PA- The La Salle University men's basketball team will participate in the San Juan Shootout, travel to Florida State and battle a full complement of Big 5 opponents during the 2007-08 season.

The non-conference schedule will also include a date at recent NCAA tournament participant Bucknell and three home games in the month of November, including the opener against Maryland - Baltimore County on Tuesday the 13th at Tom Gola Arena.

The Explorers will take part in the annual San Juan Shootout with fellow participants Clemson, Mississippi and DePaul at the Mario Morales Coliseum in Guyanabo, PR from December 19th-21st. (see below for complete breakdown of San Juan games)

The tournament will provide a launch point for an exciting series of games that will bridge the calendar years with a Big 5 contest at Villanova on Saturday, December 29th and an appointment in Tallahassee, Fl to take on the Seminoles one week later on January 5th.

Yet to be determined will be dates for games against the University of Pennsylvania and New Jersey Institute of Technology. These games will be finalized pending release of the Atlantic 10 schedule.
