PHILADELPHIA, PA - Jim Davis (Pittsgrove, NJ/ A.P. Schalick) and Geoff Schaeffer (Blackwood, NJ/ Highland Regional) have been named to the Puma Classic All-Tournament Team, while freshman Ryan Richter (Southampton, PA/ William Tennent) was named to the Philadelphia Soccer Seven honor roll for their respective performances in two overtime losses for the La Salle University men's soccer team over the holiday weekend.

The Explorers fell 3-2 in overtime to Saint Peter's College in the first game, and then suffered another 3-2 overtime loss to Saint Francis College (NY).

Midfielder/forward Davis started both games for the Explorers. He took two shots and had one shot on goal. Midfielder/defender Schaeffer started in both games for La Salle.

Freshman midfielder/forward Richter had one goal in each of the Explorer's losses. He currently leads the team in points with four.

The Explorers return to action on Friday, September 7th at Columbia University for a 4:00 PM start.
