Did you know that breast cancer is the most common invasive cancer among women in the U.S., accounting for nearly one out of every three cancers diagnosed?

The La Salle Athletic Department and the Women's Basketball team are pleased to announce their involvement in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) "Think Pink" initiative. The game is set for February 16th as the Explorers take on the Fordham Rams at Tom Gola Arena at 1:00 PM. The Explorers are one of over 600 schools that will be participating nation-wide this year.

All fans are encouraged to wear pink apparel and will be charged a $2 admission fee, with all ticket proceeds benefiting breast cancer research through Coaches vs. Cancer. In addition, ribbons will be sold at the door, with proceeds benefiting breast cancer research.

Another way to support the "Think Pink" cause is to purchase pink ribbons from the dance and cheerleading teams leading up to the event. Additional donations will also be accepted at the entrance of the Hayman Center on the day of the event.
