PHILADELPHIA - La Salle Women's Soccer senior Michelle Verzi has been selected to four different Academic squads since the end of the 2007 season - the most recent - a spot on the NSCAA All-Region Academic Team.

This recent recognition comes on the heels of being named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District First Team, a Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Team, and the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Team.

In all, Verzi has been named to five academic teams in her career - as she was named to the A-10 Academic Team as a junior as well.

Verzi was named to the 2007 NSCAA/adidas College Women Scholar All-East Region Academic Team as an honorable mention selection. The entire East Team can be viewed at the following link.
