Philadelphia, PA - For the first time this season the La Salle University student body will be in session for an Atlantic 10 home men's basketball contest when the Explorers (7-9, 2-1) attempt to win their fourth straight game in a 7:00 PM tip-off against Charlotte 49'ers (11-6, 2-1) tonight at Tom Gola Arena.
The Explorers will rely on the guard play of the trio of senior Darnell Harris and sophomores Rodney Green and Ruben Guillandeaux.
Harris, one of the nation's best three-point shooters (51.2 % - 5th/4.2 pg - 6th), is coming off a 24-point performance at Richmond and is six points away from passing Paul Burke for 22nd on La Salle's all-time scoring list.
Green is the team's second-leading scorer with 13.9 points per game and is averaging 19.3 points in A-10 play.
Guillandeaux broke out for a 12-point effort in the Richmond win after scoring eight points total in 57 minutes during his previous five games.
Turning heads as one of the A-10's best newcomers is freshman Jerrell Williams whose 9.4 points per game makes him the team's third-leading scoring and his 7.1 rebounds per outing a team best.
