Philadelphia, PA -  Explorer freshman forward Jerrell Williams (Paterson, NJ/Northfield Mount Hermon) has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week along with Richmond's Kevin Smith.

The honor is the second consecutive for the twin who logged his third double-double of the season when he tallied 12 points and 14 rebounds with two assists at Florida State.

Coincidentally, the two freshmen will face off head-to-head on Wednesday afternoon in the Atlantic 10 opener at Tom Gola Arena at 12:00 PM.
