PHILADELPHIA – La Salle’s Basketball Media Day will be held in Tom Gola Arena on Thursday, Nov. 6th, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.

Players from the men’s and the women’s teams, as well as men’s head coach Dr. John Giannini and women’s head coach Tom Lochner, will be available to the media about the upcoming season.

Later that night Explorer hoops will also hold its annual Hoops Madness to help kick off the season. Doors at Tom Gola Arena will open at 8:30 PM for the event which will feature both teams. More details on Hoops Madness will be released shortly.

The men’s squad will play Philadelphia University in an exhibition game on Saturday, November 8th at 2:00 PM at Gola Arena. The Explorers kick off the 2008-09 regular season a week later as they host Morgan State on Saturday, Nov. 15th, at 2:00 PM.

The women’s team opens the 2008-09 campaign at Big Five rival Villanova on Friday, Nov. 14th, at 4:00 PM before playing a three-game homestand at Gola Arena starting on Sunday, Nov. 16th against Long Island.
