PHILADELPHIA, PA- La Salle Student-Athletes have been holding instructional clinics throughout the entire fall semester. Recently, a group from the Baseball team volunteered to educate Logan Elementary studnets the basics of their sport. The students were taught how to properly catch ground-balls, how to throw to the right bases, and how to hit the ball. After they went over the rules and techniques of playing the game, the players let them show off their new skills in a game of waffle ball.
"I think this was the perfect time to come down to Logan and teach the kids about baseball. I'm sure most of them were watching the Phillies win the World Series and were excited to finally get the chance to play the game", said Tony Negrin, a freshman on the La Salle Baseball team.
