Philadelphia, PA – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced on Monday that La Salle junior Shannon Duval was named Women’s Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week.

In Saturday’s tri-meet at the University of Delaware, Duval achieved two first place honors on the afternoon. Duval’s first place time of 2:17.17 in the women’s 200-yard breaststroke topped her own school record in the event. The junior also went on to finish first in the women’s 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.25) and second in the women’s 200-yard IM (2:09.01) as the women went on to split the meet by defeating Rider, 153-147, and losing to Delaware, 189-106.

In two straight weeks, Duval has been honored by the Atlantic 10 as the Women’s Performer of the Week.
