Philadelphia, PA - The La Salle volleyball team recently announced two new additions to the program for next season. Lauren Noga and Breanna Mazalewski have officially signed their National Letters of Intent and will join the volleyball team as freshmen in 2009.

Noga, a Reading, PA native, served as co-captain of her Holy Name High School volleyball team as a junior and senior. Noga was a three-year starter and as a junior, she led her team in kills. In her final season at Holy Name, Noga was named All-County and Berks County Player of the Year. Noga is a member of the J-Stroke club team and at Holy Name, she competes in basketball, softball and track & field.

Mazalewski will join Noga at La Salle next year after completing her high school career at Parkland in Allentown, PA. A member of the Synergy Volleyball Club, Mazalewski was named All-Area and All-State her junior year. As a senior, she was an All-Area, All-LVC and All-District selection and was also a volleyball scholar athlete. Mazalewski captained her team as a junior and senior.

Noga and Mazalewski come academically prepared to La Salle after being listed on the honor roll while in high school.
