Piscataway, NJ - The La Salle men's and women's diving team completed the final day of the Galbraith Diving Invitational, which was held at Rutgers University, on Sunday.

Freshman Jordan Baker, who advanced to the finals on Saturday and finished seventh in the men's 1-meter diving event, returned to action on Sunday but could not get past the preliminary round. In the preliminary round of the men's 3-meter diving event, Baker finished in 10th place (236.60), freshman Leslie McGann finished in 15th (184.10), junior Justin Huckel finished in 16th (177.75) and freshman Ryan Rudnick finished in 20th (114.75).

The women could not get past the preliminary round of the 1-meter diving event as freshman Laurie McLaughlin finished in 13th (192.85), senior Tanya Lindenmuth finished in 22nd (143.30) and freshman Ashley DeMarco finished in 24th (105.70).

The Explorers have off for over a month before returning to action on Friday, Jan. 16, 2009 as they travel to the University of Rhode Island for the weekend to take part in a four-team meet which includes Massachusetts and George Washington.
