Did you know that breast cancer is the second leading cause of death for all women and the leading overall cause of cancer death in women between the ages of 20 and 59?
Join us tomorrow, February 16 at 1:00 p.m., as the Explorers take on the Fordham Rams in A-10 action. The game will be focused on raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
All fans are encouraged to wear pink apparel and will be charged a $2 admission fee, with all ticket proceeds benefiting breast cancer research through Coaches vs. Cancer. In addition, ribbons will be sold and additional donations will be accepted at the door on the day of the event with all proceeds benefiting breast cancer research.
The "Think Pink" initiative is brought to you by the La Salle Athletic Department, the Women's Basketball team and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA). The Explorers are one of over 900 schools that will be participating nation-wide this February.
Help us raise awareness and fight this vicious disease. Join the "Think Pink" Challenge.
