After a long cold winter in the Northeast, the La Salle University men's and women's tennis teams will travel to Orlando, FL the first week of March for spring break. During the excursion, the Explorer men will face off against Creighton, Grand Valley State and Valencia, while the women will take on Providence and James Madison.

The Explorers will use the trip to reconvene after a long winter in the Philadelphia region, as well as prepare for the regular season, which kicks off March 16th for the women and March 17th for the men. The spring break trip is being highly anticipated by the coaching staff and the players who are looking forward to getting to Florida to soak up some sun and start the New Year off with a bang.

"The trip down to Orlando is going to be great for our squad both on the court and off the court," said head coach Ed Colfer. "We'll get down there and get some practice in, then get to face three quality opponents, all of which will be challenges for us. It'll be good for our kids to face that kind of competition so when we come back north, we'll have some matches already under our belt before the regular season starts."

The Explorers will be in Florida February 29th - March 5th 2007.
