PHILADELPHIA - Freshman Jessica Carbin (Neptune, NJ/Neptune) has been named the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Co-Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday.

In the Explorers' 173-124 win at Drexel on Saturday, Carbin placed first in both the 100 and 200-yard backstroke. She registered personal-best times of 57.58 in the 100 and 2:07.13 in the 200. Carbin also was a member of the Explorers' 200-yard medley relay team that placed first.

Next up for Carbin and her Explorer teammates are the Atlantic 10 Championships, February 20-23 in Buffalo, NY.
