Philadelphia, PA - The La Salle University (9-12, 4-4) Explorers host Duquesne University (14-7, 4-4) in a crucial Atlantic 10 men's basketball contest today at 2:00 PM at Gola Arena.
Both teams come into the game off of huge wins with the Explorers earning their first win all-time at George Washington, 80-58, and the Dukes crushing Saint Joseph's, 102-88 at the A.J. Palumbo Center.
Senior Darnell Harris is eight three-pointers away from becoming the La Salle all-time career leader in that department with 301 career triples tallied - including six more in Wednesday night's win.
Junior Paul Johnson scored 13 points in the win and Kimmani Barrett scored a dozen points in the game's final 11 minutes.
The match-up also features two of the Atlantic 10's top freshmen with the Explorers' Jerrell Williams entering the contest averaging 9.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game and Duquesne's Damian Saunders bringing in 7.5 points and 5.3 boards per outing.
