Sunset Beach, NC - Chris Caimano shot a team-high 79 for the La Salle Explorers to finished tied for first in a three-team event hosted by La Salle at Thistle Golf Club.

The Explorers shot a team score of 340 to finish second in the event behind St. Anselm's.

Steve Sieracki scored an 82 with Mike Benzinger stroking 85 and Wes Lickliter shooting 95 in the one-round event that was played in stiff 15 mile per hour winds.

Assumption College finshed in third place.

The event was assembled last minute as inclement weather shortened the Fairfield Invitational in which the Explorers participated during their Spring Break trip to Myrtle Beach.
