PHILADELPHIA, PA- Junior forward Kevin Lydic (Marlton, NJ) netted the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over the Drexel Dragons in a spring soccer game for the Explorers on Thursday, March 13th.

Lydic turned a defender at the top of the box off a pass from freshman Colin Whalen (Philadelphia, PA). Drexel's goalie made the initial save but Lydic was able to knock in his own rebound for the score.

La Salle had another opportunity to score late in the game on a free kick that hit the crossbar by freshman Ryan Richter (Southampton, PA)- but could not convert.

Explorer junior keepers Andrew Bernhard (Lancaster, PA) and Dan Pfeiffer (Warminster, PA) both combined for the shutout.

The next home men's soccer contest will be March 27th against Saint Joseph's at 8:00 PM.
