PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University Women's Soccer team has announced its 2008 Spring schedule, which will start with two home dates and will feature two games with Big East schools.

The Explorers will open the season this coming Monday, with a game versus Saint Joseph's at McCarthy Stadium starting at 7:30 PM and will then host Lehigh, Tuesday, April 8, also at 7:30 PM.

They will then face three opponents on the road - Villanova, April 16 at 5 PM, and Delaware (April 18) and Rutgers (April 20) at a time to be determined.

"We are very pleased to have compiled such an outstanding spring schedule," said Head Coach Paul Royal. "It should be a great challenge for our Explorers having two Big East schools who have been consistently some of the nations finest squads as well as cross town rival St. Joe's.

"We also are very happy to play two very talented teams in Lehigh and Delaware.  With this type of high level competition, we should be able to get a great idea of where our team will be come next fall."
