A number of subplots are in play for the 2007-08 season finale as the 14-15/8-7 Explorers will host the Temple Owls (17-12/10-5) with the winner claiming a share of the Big 5 City Series title along with Villanova.  It would be the Explorers' first Big 5 Championship since 1990.

 

Coming to a close will be the careers of Harris and Diaz.  Harris, who has already connected on more three-pointers than any other Explorers in history, enters the game with 331 triples - his next make will set an Atlantic 10 record for career treys and leave him only five short of the Big 5 record.

 

Both teams are also in the hunt for a bye in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Championships which start next Wednesday in Atlantic City.  The Owls can finish as high as second in the A-10 with the Explorers potentially finishing as high as the third seed.

 

The game will be broadcast on CBS College Sports Network (formerly CSTV) and seen locally on Comcast SportsNet.  The simulcast of the Network broadcast can also be seen on GoExplorers.com All-Access at an additional pay-per-view cost.
