PHILADELPHIA, PA -­­­ The Atlantic 10 Conference has named La Salle University freshman Lindsay Fry (Douglassville, PA/Oley) the Rookie of the Week for the week ending September 28th.
Fry notched her first two career goals in the Explorers' three-game sweep of the week's games in which they shut-out Bryant, Lehigh and Saint Francis by a combined score of 9-0.
Fry scored her first goal in a 5-0 win over Bryant on Wednesday afternoon and added the insurance goal in the 2-0 win over Lehigh on Friday.
Her goals helped propel the team's season-high, three game winning streak which concluded with a 2-0 win over the Red Flash on Sunday.
She has started all 11 games for the 5-6 Explorers who resume play Friday when they play at Rider.
