PHILADELPHIA, PA- La Salle University and the Atlantic 10 have announced that the Explorers' Atlantic 10 men's basketball opener against the Temple Owls will now tip off at 8:00 PM Sunday, January 11th at Tom Gola Arena.

The change was made to avoid conflict with the NFC semi-final play-off game that will involve the Philadelphia Eagles in a 1:00 PM start.

The game will be televised nationally on CBS College Sports at the adjusted 8:00 PM start time.

The pre-game reception for alumni will now commence at 6:00 PM in the Blue & Gold Commons Dining Facility.

This game will also be a GOLD RUSH game with all Explorer fans encouraged to wear gold.
