PHILADELPHIA – Swimming & Diving junior Kieran Edling and softball junior Mary Pat Conville will represent La Salle at the 2009 Division I Leadership Conference in Atlanta, GA, on October 23-25. The leadership conference provides student-athletes, coaches and administrators with the necessary tools to strengthen their leadership skills and to positively impact their campus, community and conference.

“By attending this event, it will enable us to make [Student-Athlete Advisory Committee] a better and more effective organization,” said Edling, La Salle SAAC Treasurer.

Aside from gaining effective leadership skills, members of this conference will become educated on the Division I governance and legislation process, the NCAA and the Division I National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
