NEWPORT NEWS, VA – The Atlantic 10 Conference released its weekly sports honor roll on Monday and named freshman Blase Szyzsko as the Men’s Swimming & Diving Co-Rookie of the Week.

In Saturday’s home tri-meet against Delaware and Rider, Szyzsko totaled two first-place finishes in both the 100-yard breast (58.62) and 200-yard breast (2:08.26).

Szyzsko marks the second Explorer in two weeks that has received honors from the A-10. Last week, Shannon Duval was selected as the Women’s Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week.
