Philadelphia - La Salle alumni and friends gathered for an informal happy hour in Kansas City on Friday night, December 11 on the eve of the men's basketball team's matchup versus #1 Kansas. Alumni that traveled to Kansas City were able to convene with local alumni in the Kansas City area for great conversation at Raglan Irish Pub and Restaurant, located across the street from the Sprint Center.

Approximately fifty alums and friends showed up in Kansas City sporting their blue and gold to support the Explorers. Those in attendance at the Friday night event were welcomed by Kale Beers, Associate Athletic Director of External. Beers stated, "One of the most gratifying parts of the job is getting to see fellow Explorers while out on the road. Our gathering in Kansas City was a very positive experience where I got to meet some new people and spend about three hours talking all things `La Salle'. I hope to be able to touch base with good folks like this in every city we travel to." La Salle athletics will be putting together future alumni events throughout the season during men's basketball road trips.
