Philadelphia, PA – As a result of her hard work inside the classroom, senior Christa Dominick has been honored with an NCAA postgraduate scholarship which will be applied to a medical school of her choosing.

Dominick is the only member from the Atlantic 10 Conference to receive this award and the only one from the city of Philadelphia, also.

This is just another academic award for the senior. Following the 2008 volleyball season, Dominick was named to the A-10 Academic All-Conference Team and was also a CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team selection.

Dominick is La Salle’s all-time leader in assisted blocks with 280.
