18 Explorers Named to National Academic List in Field Hockey

PHILADELPHIA, PA - One week after the announcement that La Salle University field hockey team led all Division I programs in the United States with a team grade point average of 3.57, 18 of its members lead the list of individuals recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.

The list, which honors student-athletes who have achieved a 3.30 GPA or higher through the fall semester, cites more Explorers than any single other team represented.

Leading the list of Explorers are senior four-year recipients Maria Allegretto and Whitney Madron, Jess Menge and Christy Miller.
