PHILADELPHIA - Former Explorer track and cross country standout Sean Quigley '08 is featured in the upcoming April 2009 edition of 'Running Times' magazine.
Quigley, whose standout career at La Salle placed him among the nation's elite, is continuing his running career on the professional circuit. He set several new personal records in 2008, including a 7:50.02 in the 3K, 13:30.25 in the 5K and 28:03.72 in the 10K run.
He opened up the new year with a win at the Emerald Nuts Midnight Run through Central Park on New Year's Eve, and also competed in the Chiba International Ekiden in Japan in November.
Quigley continues to train right here in Philly with La Salle head coach Charles Torpey.
