PHILADELPHIA - Due to the rain and snow over the last week, La Salle Baseball had lost four of its last six games, so the Explorers have added a home contest with Cornell on Saturday.

The game will now be the Explorers home opener - a nine-inning affair - with first pitch at 12 PM.

Next week, La Salle heads out of town for three games - Monday and Tuesday at Elon (North Carolina) with Monday's game now starting at 6 PM. Tuesday will still be a 4 PM start with live stats and the purchase of live video available for both games. Go to Elon's site for more information.

The Explorers will then face Maryland-Eastern Shore on Thursday at 3 PM before coming home to host three games next weekend.

Friday will be a 3:15 PM start versus Cleveland State, followed by a schedule time change on Saturday versus Saint Peter's. First pitch for Saturday is now 3 PM, followed by Sunday's 12 PM game against Manhattan.
