Newark, NJ - The remainder of Wednesday's match was called off due to rain, unfortunately, the La Salle women's tennis team did not have a chance to make a comeback and fell to NJIT on the road, 4-0.

La Salle and NJIT completed Nos. 1, 2 and 4 singles, but the weather forced a hault at No. 3 causing the set to be retired. NJIT did manage to pick up a point at each singles match-up.

The Explorers (0-8) will play the next three matches at home starting with Wagner tomorrow at 3:00 PM.
