Rehobeth Beach, DE - The La Salle golf team shot a team score of 331 for a ninth-place finish in a one-day event hosted by the University of Pennsylvania on Monday at Kings Creek Country Club.

Steve Sieracki shot an 80 on the par 71 track to lead the team for a 24th place finish.

Tyler Batory and and Sam Venuti each shot an 83 while Mike Benzinger holed an 85.

Sieracki's front nine of 39 was the best of the Explorer quartet.

The squad from the University of Maryland won the vent with a team score of 296.

The Explorers finished four strokes out of eighth place behind Atlantic 10 rival Fordham.

The Explorers will be back in action on April 14th at Neshanic Station, NJ when the participate in the Saint Peter's College event.
