PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle rowing team takes its oars to the Schuylkill River on Friday as the Explorers compete in the historic Dad Vail Regatta. The Explorers have five boats entered into competition.

The heats will be raced on Friday with the finals on Saturday. Explorer fans can catch the team in action as they race the two-kilometer course that runs from just north of the intersection of Hunting Park Avenue and Kelly Drive down to the finish line near the Grand Stand.

The Explorers' Friday schedule is as follows:

7:49 AM: Men's Varsity 4
9:48 AM: Men's Varsity Pair
11:35 AM: Women's Varsity 8
3:21 PM: Men's Frosh/Novice 8
4:27 PM: Women's Novice 8
