Philadelphia, PA - The La Salle Volleyball program recently announced its schedule for the 2009 season. The season commences with the annual La Salle Invitational on Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29. The visiting teams taking part in the tournament include Fairleigh Dickinson, Air Force, Cleveland State and Canisius.

The Explorers will compete in three more tournaments over the course of the regular season. The Big 5 Tournament at the Palestra (Villanova, Temple, Penn), the Delaware State Tournament (Norfolk State, Maryland Eastern Shore, Delaware State) and the UNC Greensboro Tournament (Georgetown, North Carolina State, High Point, UNC Greensboro) will all take place in the month of September.

Friday, Sept. 25 will mark the first conference match of the season for the Explorers when they host George Washington at 7:00 PM. Other home conference matches include Charlotte, Temple, Rhode Island, Fordham, Xavier, Dayton and Duquesne.

The University of Dayton will host the Atlantic 10 Championship with action beginning on Friday, Nov. 20 and concluding on Sunday, Nov. 22.
