PHILADELPHIA - La Salle men's soccer keeper Kyle Quigley picked up his first weekly honor on Monday as he was named the Soccer Six Player of the Week.

Quigley earned the honor after posting two straight shutouts, the first back-to-back blankings by the Explorers since 2004. He stopped five shots in a 4-0 win over Robert Morris on Friday and five more in a 2-0 win at Pitt on Sunday.

Quigley was credited with four huge saves in the first half of the Pitt game, including two stops within 30 seconds to keep the Panthers off the board.

Quigley and the rest of the Explorers head to Soccer Six rival Drexel on Wednesday at 4:00 PM.
