PHILADELPHIA - Come join La Salle great and television analyst Bill Raftery, Dr. John Giannini, and fellow supporters of La Salle Athletics to see the 2009-10 La Salle men's basketball team's annual Friends of Bill Raftery Open Practice on Friday, October 23 at Tom Gola Arena. Practice will begin at 5:30 pm and end at 7:30 pm with a reception to follow.

The open practice is a great opportunity to see this year's men's basketball team for the first time while they prepare for the season opener, and homecoming game, against Hampton on Saturday, November 14 at 3:00 pm.

La Salle's 2009-10 team looks to build on last year's 18 win season and compete for the Atlantic 10 title with hopes of a post-season bid. Dr. Giannini has added several exciting recruits while returning the top four leading scorers from last year's squad and boasted a 3-1 record in the Big 5. This season the Explorers have twelve games televised, including seven nationally.
