PHILADELPHIA - La Salle freshman Rebecca Chylack repeated as the Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Rookie of the Week, the league office announced today. Chylack had two goals and an assist and recorded two defensive saves in two games for La Salle last week.

The Souderton, PA native now leads the team with five goals and 13 points. She is also among the Atlantic 10 leaders in both categories, ranking third in points and goals.

Chylack assisted on the Explorers' first goal on Friday in a 3-2 overtime loss at Bucknell and added a defensive save. On Sunday at Lock Haven, she scored both La Salle goals in a 4-2 loss to the Lady Eagles. She also had a defensive save.

The Explorers (3-6) return to action on Saturday with a visit to Lehigh at 7 PM.
