PHILADELPHIA - Explorer cross country runners Tyler Jones and Caitlin Storbeck have been named the La Salle Co-Student Athletes of the Week for their performances at the Boston University Invitational on Sunday.

Storbeck paced the Explorer women with a third place individual finish out of 76 runners at Boston's Franklin Park. She led the team to wins over Northeastern, Marist and host BU in the team scoring.

Jones led the men with a fourth place individual finish out of 79 runners. He paced a group of Explorers that went 4-5-6-7 and took wins over all four opposing teams (Northeastern, Marist, Brown and host BU).

Both harriers lead squads that are ranked seventh in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic regional poll.

Storbeck, Jones and the rest of the Explorers return to the cross country course when they head to Lehigh's Paul Short Invitational on October 3.
