PHILADELPHIA - La Salle alumni, family, friends, and fans of the Explorers will be in attendance at the annual Explorer Club Autumn Auction on Saturday, September 26 at Tom Gola Arena. Television personality, Don Tollefson, will be the emcee of the live auction beginning at 8:00 pm, with the silent auction taking place from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The event features live music from La Salle's Jazz Band, complimentary food and drink, and an assortment of great items up, with admission free of charge. A variety of golf outings at exclusive Philadelphia area country clubs, vacation getaways, autographed sports memorabilia, and plenty more items will be available for the silent and live auctions.

Featured items in the live auction include VIP passes to the 2010 AT&T Invitational hosted by Tiger Woods at Aronimink Golf Course, an In-Shore fishing trip with Dr. John Giannini and Explorer Club President, Ken Mancini, and exclusive timeshares to premier vacation destinations. Numerous autographed framed pictures from the Phillies, official Explorers athletic gear, golf travel bags, and spa treatments highlight the silent auction. In addition to the silent and live auction, there will be a Balloon Raffle sold by members of La Salle's Cheer and Dance teams.
