PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle women's tennis team, who embarked on its third consecutive road match on Saturday when they visited Philadelphia University, lost 7-2 after the Rams won the first five singles matches on the afternoon.
Junior Taylor Silverio recorded the final singles point of the day when she won at the No. 6 spot, 6-2, 6-2. Silverio moves to 1-1 on the season in singles competition.
Junior Christina Gomez and freshman Brigelle Hudock each picked up their second doubles victory of the season when they won at No. 3 doubles, 8-3.
The Explorers (2-3) will visit Mount St. Mary's on Sunday, Sept. 27, at 11 AM.
