PHILADELPHIA - Sean Quigley '08 was the top American finisher and 19th overall at the IAAF/Sinopec World Half Marathon Championship in Nanning, China, on Friday night (Saturday morning in China).

Quigley ran a personal best 1:03.23, outrunning 2010 USA Half Marathon champion Antonio Vega by 14 seconds to place 19th out of 41 runners and help Team USA to sixth place in the team standings.

Wilson Kiprop of Kenya won the world title with a time of 1:00.07.
