La Salle's two contests in Mexico as part of the Cancun Challenge will be broadcast on CBS College Sports, it was announced today. The network will broadcast four games of the Cancun Challenge, a men's college basketball event featuring U.S. teams playing at the all-inclusive Aventura Palace Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
The Explorers will take on Providence on November 23 at 4:30 PM (Eastern) and will play either Missouri or Wyoming on November 24 at 7 or 9:30 PM (Eastern).
La Salle now has six games on national television, including four on CBS College Sports, one on ESPN and one on ESPNU. Three more games will be broadcast by CBS College Sports Regional and picked up locally.
The games will be called by the broadcast team of Thad Anderson (play-by-play) and Pete Gillen (analyst). The Cancun Challenge features eight men's college basketball teams, and includes eight games played in the United States, and eight games played in Playa del Carmen.

The Cancun Challenge is run by Fort Collins, Colorado-based Triple Crown Sports, which also organizes women's college basketball tournaments in Cancun. Triple Crown Sports coordinates the Preseason and Postseason Women's NIT events as well.
