PHILADELPHIA - Stephanie Bearish and Meghan McGlinchey share La Salle Student-Athlete of the Week honors, as voted on by the Office of Athletic Communications.

The duo were the top two Explorers at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional at Penn State on Saturday, lifting the Explorer women to sixth place in arguably one of the strongest regions in the country.

Bearish, who earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors two weeks prior, finished 26th with a 6K race time of 21:22 to earn her first All-Region honors.

McGlinchey really stepped it up this weekend to finish as the number two Explorer for the first time this season, finishing 28th to earn her first all-region honors as well. She clocked a 21:32 in the race.

The Explorer women capped a successful season with their sixth place regional finish, which came two weeks after earning Atlantic 10 silver.

One more race awaits the Explorers as they head to ECAC/IC4A's at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday (11/20).
