La Salle Explorers (5-2)

La Salle makes a trip to the Palestra on Saturday to host Oklahoma State in an important non-conference matchup. This will mark the third Big 12 matchup in the first eight games of the season.

The Explorers are 4-0 in home games and have won their last four games at the Palestra (two versus Penn, two versus Saint Joseph's).

Las t time out, senior Ruben Guillandeaux drained a three-pointer with just over a minute to play to give La Salle its first lead of the game over Delaware State and the Explorers hung on for the 65-61 victory on Monday evening at Tom Gola Arena. Guillandeaux has made a three-pointer in his last 11 games and 15 of his last 16.

Oklahoma State Cowboys (6-1)
Conference: Big 12

Oklahoma State is off to a 6-1 start and will play its first away game today when it takes on La Salle. The Cowboys played three neutral site games at the 76 Classic in Anaheim, going 2-1.

Marshall Moses leads the team in scoring (16.0 ppg.) and adds 8.0 rpg. Keiton Page chips in with 14.0 ppg. as the only other double-figure scorer. Darrell Williams leads the team with 10.6 rebounds per game.

OSU was 22-11 a year ago and lost to Georgia Tech, 64-59, in the NCAA First Round.

The Series
Oklahoma State has won both meetings in the series, including a 77-62 victory last season in Oklahoma City. OSU also captured a 33-16 victory on December 18, 1939.
