Conference: Atlantic 10

La Salle will travel to Boston University on Thursday in its only away game in 35 days spanning from November 29 to January 2. The combined record of the three teams that have defeated La Salle is 19-2. Two of those teams (Baylor, Missouri) are ranked in the top 11 in both polls.

Sophomore Aaric Murray leads the Explorers in scoring (17.1) and rebounding (9.5) and is one of four players nationally to average at least three blocks and one steal per game.

Senior Ruben Guillandeaux (15.3 ppg) has made a three-pointer in his last 12 games and 16 of his last 17. Senior Jerrell Williams had a career-high 23 points versus Oklahoma State and adds 13.5 ppg. and 8.0 rpg.

Boston University Terriers (4-5)
Conference: America East

Boston University comes into tonight's game with a 4-5 record, having lost two straight to #10 Kentucky and Bucknell. John Holland leads the way at 17.3 ppg., followed by Jake O'Brien (10.7 ppg.) and former La Salle player Darryl Partin (9.6 ppg.).

Former Villanova assistant Patrick Chambers is in his second year and has seven players with Philadelphia connections.

Today's game will be played at Agganis Arena, rather than Case Gym, and is one of five home games at that venue this season.

The Series
The La Salle-BU series is tied at 1-1 and the teams have not met since December 28, 1997 at the Tribune Classic in Tempe, AZ. BU won that game 77-65. The only previous meeting was in the 1983 NCAA Tournament First Round with La Salle taking a 70-58 win at the Palestra.
